here are some pics, the painting is obviously not completed yet, but now everyone has an idea of how far I've come, and how much more I need to work on. Since then, I have filled in the rest of the background, and started working on the heater (radiator) that stands under the glass objects. I will continue posting pictures of my progress.

I have never seen your work before, so I am not sure if you have ever done glass, but since I have done many glass pieces, here are some helpful hints.
1. don't be afraid to pull out your lights and darks, this will create a more round shape for the vase.
2. show the background through the piece, not like a mirror affect, but more like how you "actually" see it through the vase.
3. Show the a harsh white on edges of the vase, it will make it look more three dimensional.
