Wow Serena these paintings are really good. I like the different textures you showed, they really look realistic and you got the highlights and shadows well. Your paintings always look so beautiful!
I have one suggestion for the self portrait; the face is looking good, you are really bringing out the lights and shadows to create a more 3d feel. However, I think the hair should be worked on more in order to make it look more realistic. Do what you did with the face and really look at the hair to see where the lights and darks are. good work
