Paul Cezanne paintings

Nice job. I like your explanation. Cezanne uses lots of warm hues for the foreground which makes the skulls pop out in front of your eyes and the shadow in the background show distance. It creates illusion of skulls appearing closer than they are.

I love the eerieness of the skull painting. It seems to be lit by candles and reminds me of an age pirates and sea life.
